Casina dei Cari has been created from an ancient residence of the 16th century, the summer house of the Bourbon King Ferdinando IV.
It is an ancient residence set in the midst of mediterranean vegetation.

Not far from the sea, the residence takes its name from the man who built it, Domenico Cara, who looked after the interests of the Bourbon King in the area.
And it is in this noble 16th century armosphere that a Residence has been created that is able to meet the needs of a clientele that values
tranquillity and a historic environment. Close to the sea of Lido Marini (on the Ionian coast), it is the perfect position from which to visit the
famous sites of the Salento coast.

Vacations:
The hotel is in the marvellous Lecce province, just 3 km. from the sea, and is surrounded by 3000 square meters of gardens set in an oasis of calm.
Casina dei Cari has all the characteristics of the south: sunny, quiet, with the slow, easy rhythms typical of the region. Set in the green heart of the southern Puglianella region, near the intriguing town of Lido Marini, best known for its beautiful views, and not far from the ports of Santa Maria di Leuca, to the south, and Gallipoli, to the north, on a stretch of clean and tranquil coast, it is ideal for swimming and scuba diving.
Casina dei Cari offers its guests a comfortable, clean and quiet environment. Its staff will assist you day and night. Long and shorter stays are possible (even just for a night without the requirement to stay over on a Saturday). The rooms are cleaned and sheets changed regularly, as well as being heated in winter.aurant/bar where guests have tasty breakfasts, rich buffets, barbecues, local fish specilaities.

The masseria has two bars, one for the hotel and another larger one for the whole complex where in the summer live music is played. Guests can also enjoy the wide spaces for relaxation in the midst of nature and a beautiful park, all within a few chilometers of the sea.

The rooms are located in a 17th century building and have all the characteristics of the period.
